20g tablets for disinfection and algae control.
20g tablets for disinfection and algae control. Ideal for long-term and even disinfection of swimming pool water. Tablets; practical and easy to dose. Preventive effect against algae and organic dirt/load. Stabilizer protects chlorine from UV radiation from the sun. High stable chlorine content: Min. 90%. For application in soft and hard water.
Dosing instructions (practical advice):
- Always correct the pH value between 7.2 and 7.6
- Dissolve the tablet(s) in the dosing float or skimmer
- Maintain the chlorine level around 2 to max. 5 ppm (mg/l). The dosage depends strongly on circumstances (temperature, sun and bath load)
- 10 tablets per 30-35 m³ of water every 3-5 days
- With this dosing recommendation, the cyanuric acid content may not exceed 70 ppm (mg/l) (overstabilisation)
- May differ from label texts. Labels are always drawn up according to national rules and regulations
Warning:
- Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use
- Keep in a cool dark place, out of the reach of children
- Do not throw the tablets directly into the pool. You can easily get bleach stains and damage the bottom of your pool.
- Never mix with other (swimming pool) chemicals or other types of chlorine. These can react with each other. Chlorine gas formation may occur
- To avoid risk of skin and eye irritation, it is recommended to wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling this product
Tip:
- Note: Melpool 90/20 contains a chlorine stabilizer (cyanuric acid). This stabilizer protects the dissolved chlorine from UV rays from the sun that can quickly degrade the chlorine. With long-term dosing, the water can become over-stabilised, so that the chlorine is no longer sufficiently active. Therefore, regularly change part of the water
- Melpool 90/20 dissolves slowly. To quickly increase chlorine levels quickly (chlorine shock at season start or problems with algae/organic load) dose Melpool 70/G or Melpool 55/G
- If a floating dispenser is used, make sure that it receives sufficient flow. Otherwise the tablets will not dissolve properly and quickly enough!
