Bromine disinfection tablets of 20g for swimming pools.

Slow-dissolving disinfectant tablets 20g. Ideal for spa water treatment (high temperature and pH). Less irritating to eyes and sensitive skin, no typical chlorine smell. Effective against algae and organic dirt. Will not be broken down by the influence of the sun (UV). For application in soft and hard water.

Dosing instructions (practical advice)¹:

• Always correct the pH value between 7.4 and 7.8
• During the treatment, the pump should be running for at least 3 to 4 hours
• Do not throw the BR/20 tablets directly into the pool. You can easily get bleach stains and damage the bottom of your pool.
• Always dissolve tablets in a floating dispenser or skimmer.
• Recommended bromine level for spas: 2 – 4 ppm (mg/l), for swimming pools 1 – 3 ppm (mg/l)
• The dosage depends strongly on circumstances (temperature, sun and bath load)

Warning:

• Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use
• Keep in a cool dark place, out of the reach of children
• Never mix with other (swimming pool) chemicals or other types of chlorine. These can react with each other
• To avoid risk of skin and eye irritation, it is recommended to wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling this product

Tip:

• Melpool BR/20 is an effective disinfectant, but works “slower” than chlorine
• It is therefore advisable to apply a chlorine or OXY Shock regularly (at least every 14 days).
• Only dose Melpool BR/20 when the chlorine content is below 0.5 ppm (5 mg/l)
• Dose chlorine or OXY products after BR/20 tab has completely dissolved
